Software-tricks fürs Cluster
insbesondere ein paar aliase, die einem das leben und die Arbeit mit dem Cluster vereinfachen.
tmux
Da bei jedem ausloggen (und damit auch bei timeouts von ssh) die tmux-session geschlossen wird bietet es sich an die etwas persistenter anzulegen und über ein alias zu verwenden (pfad anpassen):
alias tmux='tmux -S /home/ab123456/tmu-session.lock'
Sciebo-einbindung
alias owncloud_sync='owncloudcmd -u <USER>@rwth-aachen.de --exclude sciebo_exclude.txt ~/sciebo/ https://rwth-aachen.sciebo.de'
Weitere aliase
Bei der Verwendung von slurm braucht man beide folgenden Befehle recht oft:
alias usage=r_wlm_usage alias waiting='squeue -u ab123456'
ausserdem hilfreich ist der Aufruf von usage -q der mehr details zu zur Verfügung stehenden Quotas bereitstellt.
htop
muss leider selbst kompiliert werden und ist nicht standardmässig enthalten
